Have one of them thar fancy Macbooks with the Thunderbolt 3 and you need to get video into it? This is your device. It takes HD signals up to 60P, in either the YUV or RGB colour spaces. The box is powered by the Thunderbolt connection. You have to download BlackMagic’s free software to tell it which input you want to use. It’s not backwards compatible with Thunderbolt 1 or 2 if you have an adaptor. Unlike some input devices, this is not seen as a webcam, it is bringing uncompressed video into your laptop.
